Pharmacist - Pharmacy - Per Diem - Guthrie Healthcare : Job Details

Responsible for preparing and dispensing medications for patients within the Hospital. Provides those other services which may be required as part of the daily operating activities of the Pharmacy Department; compounds and dispenses medications and other pharmaceutical supplies, using standard physical and clinical procedures to fill written prescriptions issued by physicians, dentists, and other qualified prescribers. Education, License & Cert: Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy from an accredited School of Pharmacy. License Current License as pharmacist in NYS and preferably PA. Experience: Previous experience in hospital pharmacy practice preferred but not required. Essential Functions: 1. Dispenses medications per established department procedures. 2. Extemporaneous preparation of medications. 3.
