Job Highlights:

• Pay: $160,000–$185,000/year (based on experience and shift)
• Shifts Available: 2nd and 3rd shift preferred (1st shift also open)
• Employment Type: Full-time or part-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Compound sterile medications in accordance with USP , USP (as applicable), and cGMP standards
• Maintain sterile cleanroom conditions through proper aseptic technique, gowning, and environmental controls
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, stability, and therapeutic appropriateness
• Oversee and verify compounding processes, batch records, and labeling for regulatory compliance
• Perform final verification and release of compounded sterile preparations (when authorized)
• Collaborate with QA and compliance teams to address deviations and implement corrective actions
• Train and mentor pharmacy technicians on sterile procedures and documentation
• Monitor and maintain inventory of APIs, excipients, and sterile supplies

Requirements:

• PharmD or Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school
• Active Texas Pharmacist License (multi-state licensure a plus)
• Minimum 2 years' experience in USP sterile compounding in a 503A, 503B, or hospital IV room environment
• Proficiency in cleanroom operations, laminar flow hoods, and aseptic gowning
• Familiarity with USP and cGMP requirements
• Sterile compounding training required; CSPT or ACPE-approved CE certifications preferred
• Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to work efficiently in a high-paced setting
