Pest Control Field Scout - Northern Region - Wonderful Citrus - The Wonderful Company : Job Details

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Field Scout to monitor crop health, identify pest and disease pressures, and assist in collecting critical field data to support decision-making. The Field Scout plays a key role in ensuring optimal crop performance through timely observations and reporting. Here's what you'll do:Perform regular field visits to assess pest and disease presence, and overall plant health. Collect data on weed populations, insect activity, disease symptoms, and environmental conditions. Place, collect, and count trap data. Record and report findings using standardized scouting forms, apps, or software platforms. Assist in the implementation of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies. Communicate findings and field observations to Pest Control Advisor (PCA) in a timely and accurate manner. Release biological control organisms where warranted.
