Summary: The Personal Risk Account Manager is responsible for working with Advisors/Client Executives and Account Executives to service client accounts. The position requires day-to-day client servicing for a specific set of clients and entails a great deal of verbal, electronic, and written communication. The Account Manager II will manage the renewal and marketing process, prepare materials for presentations and communications, in collaboration with senior team members. Work is completed with significant independent discretion. This role involves developing relationships with clients and carrier contacts, working proactively to deliver services effectively and efficiently. Support for the Account Management Team may also be part of the responsibilities.

This full-time role offers a hybrid schedule, with two days working remotely and three days from Vermont office locations: South Burlington, Morrisville, Newport, and St. Johnsbury.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Develop relationships with carrier and client contacts; may participate actively in meetings.
  • Prepare and send proposals to insurance carriers and document results; draft renewal presentations.
  • Review proposals and source documents for accuracy in collaboration with senior team members; communicate directly with clients and carriers with approval.
  • Create and maintain client files according to office procedures; manage client policy records in the agency system.
  • Answer billing questions from clients and insurance personnel, with assistance from the Accounting Department when needed.

  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and technology.
  • Education And/or Experience
  • Associates degree or equivalent; BA/BS preferred.
  • Over 3 years of client service and/or industry experience.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registration
  • P&C Insurance License required.
