Job Title: Personal Property Specialist

Job Location: Coronado, CA

Salary: $70K-$75K

Clearance: Secret

Travel: Up to 10%

Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to support NSWCEN in range enterprise training, focusing on equipment accountability and maintenance, training, scheduling, logistics, facility maintenance, and inventory management.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
  • Assist the NSWCEN Personal Property Manager (PPM) with data entry into DPAS and related functions.
  • Manage inventory practices and procedures, including accounting, dispute resolution, auditing, disposal, and training coordination, in compliance with NAVSUP, Fleet Logistics Center, Naval Special Warfare Command, and NSWCEN guidance.
  • Identify logistics issues, recommend management solutions, and support oversight of the Accountable Property System of Record (APSR).
  • Assist the PPM in DPAS management and coordinate with higher headquarters for programmatic, technical, and operational efficiency.
  • Operate government forklifts; note that forklift operation is incidental and not primary to the role.
  • Job Specific Knowledge and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of recent experience as a military supply technician, active or civilian.
  • At least 3 years of experience with DPAS and knowledge of COMNAVSPECWARCOM Instruction 4460.1D.
  • Current OSHA forklift certification.
  • Familiarity and prior work experience with Naval Special Warfare (desired).
