Provides proactive day-to-day customer service by anticipating customer needs and responding to their questions in a timely manner Makes necessary contacts both inside and outside the company in order to obtain the information requested by the customer Reviews customer exposures, loss experience, current coverages and recommends appropriate products and services on an annual basis Creates and presents renewal proposals to existing customers Communicates the customer's needs and binding instructions to carriers Manages the customer's accounts receivables to ensure timely collection of premiums and payments to carriers Utilizes the Agency Management System to enter and maintain all pertinent account information in an accurate and timely manner Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality is an essential function of the position Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience &/or education Proven time management skills and ability to multitask Possesses exceptional verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Constant use of computer screens Ability to operate a computer keyboard, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time during the workday Long periods of typing and repetitive motion Ability to lift and/or move and carry up to 10 pounds Hometown service, statewide strength.
