Personal Lines Account Manager I Shawnee, OK Onsite Position BancFirst Insurance Services, 3300 E. Shawnee Road Muskogee, OK 74403 Full Time Position Summary BancFirst Insurance Services, Inc. is hiring a Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager. BFINS is a growing and dynamic independent insurance agency offering a very competitive compensation and benefit package. This position is responsible for servicing a book of business in a timely, accurate and positive manner with the input of the producer on the account, if a producer is on the account. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. RENEWAL & NEW BUSINESS May initiate or attend meetings with the producer(s) to discuss marketing plans for accounts that expire up to 120 days in advance. On accounts where requested, reviews expiring exposure and requests exposure updates from the clients; on new business enters completed applications in EPIC provided by the producer. In coordination with the producer, if one is present, prepares and sends out submissions to markets and/or quote products on-line. Review quotes, make recommendations, and verify that coverages are as requested and prepare proposal; Bind Coverage with carrier prior to expiration; invoice all accounts within the month they are incepted; Ensure Auto IDs are issued in advance of renewal. Prepare and issue renewal certificates. Process automatic renewals from companies in advance of expiration; Work with Processor(s) to prepare policies to send being sure to check work prepared; Prepare summaries and complete policy checks. ACCOUNTING/AUDITS Responsible for resolving accounting discrepancies to producers and clients. Works with producer(s) to manage accounts receivable; paying particular attention to balances over 90 days old. GENERAL Requests and tracks the processing of policy changes and endorsements; works with Processor(s)/Assistants in execution of this process Ensures the accuracy of information in the Agency Management System; Issues certificates within 24 hours and Auto ID Cards Orders Loss Runs when necessary; works with claims adjuster to assist in handling of claims as needed. Responsible for the accuracy of work given to Processor(s). Processes endorsements w/ assistance from Processor(s). Maintains positive and professional working relationships with clients, carriers and other employees in the office. Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of the position Requirements High School education required with college degree preferred or equivalent experience &/or education Good working knowledge of Personal Property/Casualty coverages. Current insurance license and should be working toward or hold the CISR designation Typically has at least one year of experience in a processor P/L role Ability to work with computer technology including use of Word and Excel or other relevant programs. Ability to operate computers and general office equipment Aptitude for accuracy in mathematical calculations Demonstrates professional tactful negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve objectives. Organizational and Time Management skills to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines. Keep up with continuing education requirements for licensing. Above average verbal, written and interpersonal skills to interact with associates at all levels of responsibility. Physical Requirements Constant use of computer screens Ability to operate a computer keyboard, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time during the workday Long periods of typing and repetitive motion Ability to lift and/or move and carry up to 10 pounds Hometown service, statewide strength.
