Personal Caregiver - NYC Staffing : Job Details

One full time, temporary, one time occurrence, H-2B job available from 10/01/2025 to 09/30/2028. Employer: Central Park South Physicians, PLLC, 128 Central Park South, Suite C/D, New York, NY 10019. Multiple Worksites

Duties:

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safe movement and positioning of client.
• Manage medication schedules as prescribed and directed by healthcare providers.
• Help client with daily activities such as eating, preparing meals, and maintaining personal hygiene.
• Monitor and report on client health status and any changes to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to client, helping to reduce loneliness and enhance quality of life.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing living spaces.
• Help client with physical therapy exercises as recommended by healthcare providers.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for client.
• Maintain accurate records of client care and report any concerns to family members or healthcare providers.
• Assist with scheduling transportation for appointments, errands, and social outings if needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines related to the care of elderly client.

Applicants must be able to lift and support clients, as necessary, with proper assistance or mobility devices; to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods; and to perform personal care tasks, including assisting with bathing and dressing.

Work days: Mon-Fri, hours 4:00pm - 12:00am, 40 hours per week at $37.50/hr. Overtime at $56.25. No education required. No experience required. On the job training provided. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Worker will be paid bi-weekly. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Employer will provide workers with board/lodging at no cost to the employee. Board/lodging is provided at the residence. Employee will have a private bedroom, bathroom and access to the kitchen for meals. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $16.28/day without receipts or up to $68/day with receipts.
