Position Type: Support Staff/Personal Care Assistant Date Posted: 8/25/2025 Location: Hanover Public School District Date Available: Immediately Job Description We have several 10-month, full-time PCA positions (7 hours per day) open throughout the district. Responsibilities include providing academic support to students under the direction of learning support and/or classroom teachers, and providing personal care/toileting support to individual students as needed. May entail working in our autistic support classrooms. Pay rate is $13.52 per hour minimum. Starting rate based on experience and internal equity. Qualifications Must meet Highly Qualified Status with two years of post-secondary education or high school diploma/equivalent and satisfactory completion of the CAPE test. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted Must be computer literate Must possess excellent interpersonal skills Must be cooperative, congenial and service-oriented Ability to read, write and communicate effectively Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks Application Procedure All applicants must complete the entire online application.
