The successful candidate will have a primary focus on delivering same-day access care for primary care patients during the day, as well as providing immediate care services for all patients in the evening. The position does not require managing a patient panel. ECU Health Family Medicine-Pinetops qualifies as a National Health Service Corps (NHSC) approved site. ECU Health Physicians includes an academic practice model (ECU employment) and a community practice model (health system employment). There is shared leadership and shared services to support the overall group and to ensure alignment for clinical care, research, education and strategy. This innovative structure creates opportunities within ECU Health Physicians ranging from acute to ambulatory, academic practice to community practice, regional to rural, and everything in between.Position Highlights

ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Family Medicine-Pinetops are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an established practice located in Pinetops, North Carolina. Pinetops is located 30 miles from Greenville, NC (population 90,000) and 75 miles east of Raleigh. Applicants with at least 1 year of experience as a provider are preferred. New graduates will be considered.Qualifications

• BLS certification by the American Heart Association is required
