JOB SUMMARY: The Center for Occupational and Environmental Medicine (COEM) provides a diverse range of clinical services including diagnostic programs, early detection, treatment, workers comp and disability management, referral, social work and wellness in the workplace. The primary goal of the COEM is to prevent workplace illness and injury. The work involves providing clinical services and preventative education and outreach in the daily operation of the COEM, as well as employee health services for Erie County Medical Center employees. As the staff physician, the incumbent participates in hands-on clinical care, assisting in training for nurses and non-clinical team members, and delivering optimum care to patients. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Medical Director, Chief Medical Officer, Director of Systems Health and Safety, and Vice-President of Ambulatory Care & Population Health, in addition to receiving guidance from a community based advisory board.Position Highlights

When determining pay, several factors will be considered including but not limited to location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, professional credentials, internal equity, and budget.
Qualifications
  • MD or DO required, Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Occupational Medicine (preferred).
  • Occupational Medicine board certification allowance option
