Dietitian: Duration:13 Weeks Start:04/14/2025 Description: Dietitian assesses patients' nutritional needs and creates personalized meal plans to promote health and manage medical conditions. They educate individuals on proper nutrition, diet modifications, and healthy eating habits. Dietitians work in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and community centers, collaborating with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes. They also track patient progress and adjust plans as needed for optimal health results. Clinical Dietician: To provide clinical nutrition support, care and information to patients and staff of Bay Area Hospital. Skills and Abilities: Proficiently operates calculator, computer, PowerPoint, telephone, copy machine, fax machine

• Able to read, write legibly, and converse in the English language
• Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location

Physical/Mental/Environmental Requirements:

• Able to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
• Possess physical agility and adequate reaction time to respond quickly and appropriately to unexpected patient care needs
• Needs adequate hearing and visual acuity, including adequate color vision
• Requires fine motor skills, adequate eye-hand coordination, and ability to grasp and handle objects
• Able to use proper body mechanics to assist patients in ambulating, transferring in and out of bed, chair or wheelchair
• May be required to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must use standard precautions due to threat of exposure to blood and bodily fluids
• Needs ability to communicate effectively through reading, writing, and speaking in person or on telephone
• May require periodic use of personal computer
