DVAA is seeking dynamic candidates for the regular part-time position of Performing Arts Manager
This is an exciting time for arts programming in the Upper Delaware Valley/Sullivan Catskill region. With immense talent that is both locally based and engaged in the area, the arts are a central part of our areas identity. Our audiences are informed and curious, with a strong interest in high-caliber offerings. DVAAs performing arts programming has served as one of our flagship programs since we were founded.
The Performing Arts Manager organizes DVAAs performing arts programming and manages the Tusten Theatre and Krause Recital Hall. This includes booking 12-16 public performances at the Tusten, the annual Winter Salon series at Krause Hall that are in keeping with DVAAs mission, coordinating space rental/usage with other performing arts groups, and more.
Additionally, as needed, the Performing Arts Manager contributes to public programs and events that DVAA produces and supports including at Riverfest and special pop-up events.

The position schedule is 22 hours on average per week.
The position is performed on-site at DVAAs 37 Main Street location where safety guidelines pertaining to COVID-19 are followed. DVAA maintains a virtual work environment to accommodate for interruption of in-person workplace. Flex time is additionally offered to meet key deadlines and/or provide support at essential public events.
Staff receive a paid week off between Christmas and New Years Day and two paid sick days.
