Will be utilizing Load Runner to analyze, modify, execute, and report performance test suites across a variety of desktop and web-based applications.Ability to provide technical leadership to Junior level engineers on Load Runner. Previous lead or supervisory experience is a plus; otherwise, strong and clear communicative abilities are essential.SQL (moderate to high), Visual Studio (performance testing), experience in Healthcare is also highly encouraged.Job Description:
Premera's test team is looking for a contract resource to assist them in a data center migration project. They are trying to see if application(s) performance remains consistent when moving servers from the current data center to the new data center.
They mostly have all the existing scripts and some new scripts that will need to be created when they conduct the performance test of the new data center. Knowledge of Visual Studio performance testing would be beneficial.
As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) for our IT Applications team, you will be working on core IT projects that impact all areas of the organization. You will provide quality products to customers while collaborating with development teams. You will be working on projects in team settings that are highly collaborative and open to looking for new ways to incorporate innovative automation.
What you'll do:
Work collaboratively with development and testing peers to identify new automation possibilities to generate or manipulate data, create automated regression tests and tools, or other technical advances that could empower the team to test in ways that would not be available by manual testing alone.Utilize critical thinking and analytical skills to work through complex business problems in ways that will ensure we are adding quality value by bringing quality upstream, reducing technical debt, or providing automation or tools with a mindful return on investment.What you'll bring:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or four (4) years' experience in Information TechnologySeven (7) years' of experience in Quality Assurance/Software Testing or Information Technology fieldAbility to attack the business problem, plan for and predict outcomes, and ask the right questionsAdvanced SQL, C# and .NET skills - Java is desiredDeep technical knowledge of automated testing, automatic test data creation in a complex/heterogeneous environment, performance, load and stress testing, design and implementation of automation frameworks, automated test script design, build execution, and maintenanceExperience with test tools – Automation tools, MTM, Load Runner, UFTExperience with the SDLC, Spiral, and Agile methodologiesAbility to articulate your own contributions on projects and articulate the needs of the projectExperience managing a program would be a plusKnowledge of the healthcare domain would be helpfulAbility to successfully work and navigate with lots of ambiguityOther noteworthy details:
