Performance Tester - Akkodis : Job Details

Akkodis is seeking a Performance Tester for a contract with a client in Chicago, IL. You will be responsible for designing performance test plans and analyzing system behavior under load to identify bottlenecks and optimize performance. Rate Range: $37/hour to 49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Performance Tester job responsibilities include:

• Design and execute performance test plans to evaluate system behavior under load, stress, and scalability conditions.
• Use tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or NeoLoad to simulate user traffic and monitor system performance.
• Analyze test results and system metrics to identify bottlenecks and recommend performance improvements.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues and optimize system architecture.
• Create detailed performance test reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Continuously enhance performance testing strategies to align with evolving application and infrastructure changes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in performance testing and analysis.
• Hands-on expertise with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
• Strong skills in analyzing system metrics and identifying performance bottlenecks across web and enterprise applications.
