  • Experience managing organization transformations across multiple regions and talent pools.
  • Experience in areas such as organizational design, succession planning, performance management, business consulting, compensation and rewards, recognition programs, culture, employee engagement, coaching, talent management, conflict resolution, talent acquisition, data analysis, and employee relations.
Preferred qualifications:
  • MBA or Master's degree.
  • Ability to analyze data, understand trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and participation in strategy discussions.
  • Ability to work within constraints and challenge the status quo.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
About the job

This role involves partnering with YouTube Tech org leaders, including VPs of Engineering and Product for Core Experiences. The team is responsible for user experiences across multiple surfaces and delivering high-quality content through algorithmic optimizations. Main sub-teams include Search, Responsible Growth, Main App, and Kids. You will also collaborate with the VP of Engineering for Living Room and Infrastructure, supporting devices like TVs, OTT boxes, gaming consoles, and smart displays.

The ideal candidate is a strategic partner with strong judgment, analytical skills, and critical thinking, working across functions including YouTube Strategy, Trust and Safety, and Business teams.

Our People Operations team (HR) is dedicated to attracting and supporting the world's most innovative talent, fostering diversity, accessibility, equity, and inclusion through data-driven practices in hiring, promotion, retention, and culture.

The US base salary range is $211,000-$297,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary is determined by role, level, location, skills, experience, and education. Specifics will be shared during hiring.

Responsibilities
  • Provide thought leadership on organizational and people strategies, using data to guide decisions and proactively address challenges.
  • Partner with leaders to develop comprehensive people plans for large-scale change initiatives.
  • Identify root causes of issues and design cross-disciplinary solutions beyond traditional HR functions.
  • Deliver talent and performance management, change management, leadership coaching, data insights, employee relations, and development support.
