Position: Project Manager IV
Location: SeaTac, WA 98198
Duration: 12-month contract (possibility of extension)
Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager IV to lead the execution and successful delivery of large and/or complex projects. This role is ideal for a senior-level project leader with strong enterprise-scale experience, exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, and proven expertise in change management.
You will act as a subject matter expert and thought leader, working independently to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions, processes, and systems that drive organizational improvement. This position will involve cross-functional coordination between business and technology teams, as well as work within the airline/aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage large-scale enterprise projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to established processes, standards, and best practices.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and success metrics.
- Apply deep project management knowledge to navigate ambiguity, solve complex problems, and influence outcomes across the organization.
- Develop and execute People Change Management and Business Readiness plans to ensure successful adoption of changes.
- Foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Manage multiple priorities, instill a sense of urgency, and drive projects to timely completion.
- Identify risks, issues, and opportunities, and develop effective resolution strategies.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in project management and/or change management.
- Proven experience delivering projects within the airline or aviation industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, OR equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong track record managing complex, cross-functional projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated success in influencing project outcomes using analytical approaches.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple objectives and deadlines.
- PMP certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with aircraft modification programs.
- Familiarity with airline maintenance practices.
- Demonstrated expertise in People Change Management and Business Readiness planning.
