Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive pediatric care, managing well visits and urgent care needs.
- Utilize eClinicalWorks EMR system to document patient interactions.
- Collaborate with a dedicated medical assistant and scribe who assist in preparing documentation and medication orders.
- Engage with parents, providing reassurance and answering questions about their child's health.
- Handle a patient load of 20-45 per day, depending on the shift and patient needs.
Additional Information
- Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Must possess a New York state medical license.
- Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of recent experience in pediatrics or pediatric urgent care.
- Applicants must be willing to undergo a paid 5-hour trial day if not currently in a pediatric or pediatric urgent care setting.
