Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.
Schedule: Monday– Friday. Hours are usually 7:45 – 4:15; Monday – Thursday and rotating late shift on Friday's from 8:30 – 5.
The nurse must be flexible and willing to be part of team.
Must travel to an offsite twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday's) • take vitals, height, weight, lab draws, cheek swabs, answer phones&portal messages and respond in a timely manner.
They make appointments for the patients, work on authorizations, will need to be able to reconstitute Botox for injections, assist with procedures, and assist with other diagnostic tests.
Pediatric and neurology experience preferred.
7 days maximum time off

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
