Your Clinical Scope
- Inpatient Pediatric Floor
- Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
- Pediatric Sedation Services
- No ECMO or post-op hearts
- Procedures include: intubations, lumbar punctures, line placement, chest tubes, CPR
- Documentation: H&Ps, progress notes, discharge summaries
Rapides 2024 Census Snapshot
- Pediatric Admissions: ~550/year
- PICU Admissions: 250-300/year
- Pediatric ADC: 6 | PICU ADC: 3
- Subspecialty Support: Cardiology, Pulmonology, GI
- Monthly Subspecialty Clinics: 1-2x/month
