We are seeking a skilled Dentist to temporariliy join our dental practice as a Locum Tenens Provider . The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and treatment to patients while ensuring excellent patient satisfaction*DUTIES*- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning- Administer anesthetics and sedatives for dental procedures- Perform tooth extractions, root canals, and other standard dental procedures- Educate patients on oral health care and preventive measures- Maintain accurate patient medical records using electronic health record systems like Dentrix- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques- Utilize practice management software such as Dentrix for patient scheduling and billing- Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and other staff to provide comprehensive patient care- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry techniques and technologies\*\*Qualifications:\*\*- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school- Valid state dental license in good standing-Valid NY State Medicaid Number- Proficiency in CAD/CAM technology for dental restorations is a plus- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with patients and staffThis position offers a competitive salary, and opportunities for professional growth.
