Pediatric Clinical Support Nurse - Night Shift - Albany Medical Center : Job Details

Join our dedicated team at Albany Medical Center as a Pediatric Clinical Support Nurse! In this vital role, you will provide expert on-site consultation and support to our Patient Care Services Staff in the Children's Hospital.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Demonstrating advanced knowledge and skills necessary for specialty nursing.
• Managing complex patient and system-related issues effectively.
• Assisting staff in developing clinical skills and navigating challenging patient care situations.
• Teaching and supporting staff to initiate and manage intravascular therapy.
• Providing direct care in selected complex patient scenarios.
• Communicating effectively with the care team to reach consensual decisions in the best interest of our patients.

Qualifications:

• Current NYS Nursing license; BSN preferred.
• Pediatric/Critical Care certification is a plus.
• At least 3 years of recent acute care clinical experience in Pediatrics.
