PCU Registered Nurse - A-Line Staffing Solutions : Job Details

Provide care in a 20 room/beds unit with a 1:5 nurse to patient ratio. Minimum of 2 years' experience required; first-timers accepted. Work every other weekend. ACLS, BLC, and NIH certifications required. Float as needed to meet facility needs. Discuss schedule requests with manager regarding block schedules. Must have an active IL license to apply; pending licenses not accepted. Ideally no more than 5 days of time off. Client may call off up to 36 hours without payment for cancelled hours. Required to have Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response skills. Experience in managing dysrhythmias and obtaining 12 lead EKG. Chronic/ Acute Renal failure experience required. IV therapy skills: accessing ports, arterial line management, and blood product administration. Medication experience: continuous IV sedation and titrating cardiac drips.
