PCT Virtual Patient Observation - AdventHealth : Job Details

Monitoring patients who needs to be observed on a continual basis to quickly identify behavioral circumstances that could potentially impact their ongoing care and safety; communicating the safety status to the nurses or care team. Observation could be virtual or physically present. Maintains effective and timely communication with the nursing staff. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. The value youll bring to the team:Continuously observes monitors/patient following nursing plan of care and through virtual, audible and/or physical observation, recognizes clinical (physical or psychological) significant changes that could potentially compromise patient care and safety. Notifies nursing staff promptly and accurately of any changes observed in patients condition. Monitors alarms (VPO) per policy, standard operating procedure or work instructions.
