We continue to experience rapid growth and are investing in resources and creating new opportunities. As a result, we have exciting openings for a Senior PCB Designer to join our Electronic Design team in Rockleigh, NJ 07647.

Responsibilities:

  • Design printed circuit boards (PCB) for our Digital Media line and other high-speed designs.
  • Collaborate with Hardware, Mechanical, and Production Engineering during the physical and electrical design processes.
  • Calculate impedances and stack-ups as required for designs.
  • Set up design rules and criteria within CES for Expedition.
  • Prepare for testing (ICT).
  • Create documentation for manufacturing and assembly of PCBs, following established procedures.
  • Create component symbols and decals for the Expedition library environment.
  • Perform engineering changes through our ECN process, including during prototype stages.
  • Contribute to defining and updating Crestron's PCB design rules, procedures, and policies.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • 6-9 years of hands-on PCB design experience required.
  • 5-9 years of experience with Siemens Mentor Graphics Expedition required.
  • Hands-on experience designing high-speed digital circuits required.
  • Experience with impedance calculations and stack-up design required.
  • Knowledge of IPC standards for PCB interconnects required.
  • Familiarity with software administration for PADS and Expedition is a plus.
  • Librarian experience creating parts is a plus.
