Payroll Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the payroll team and oversee the payroll process for all Ashley Companies' weekly hourly payrolls, providing assistance as needed.
• Contribute to general accounting tasks, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and resolving general ledger issues.
• Ensure timely completion of weekly payrolls and address any escalated payroll concerns that may arise.
• Manage and participate in special projects within the payroll department to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience is necessary.
• At least 5 years of experience in payroll and general accounting is required.
• Experience in a supervisory or management role is preferable.
• Certification as a Payroll Professional is preferred.
