Payroll Specialist - Tandym Group : Job Details

A recognized pharma company in Utah is actively seeking a new Payroll Specialist for a great opportunity with their growing team in Salt Lake City.***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 days a week.***Responsibilities:Manage and process bi-weekly or monthly payroll cycles, including the calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductionsAdminister employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other deductionsGenerate and distribute payroll reports to management, HR, and finance teams as neededPrepare payroll-related reports for auditing and compliance purposesMaintain accurate and confidential payroll recordsAddress employee inquiries related to payroll, tax withholdings, and benefits promptly and professionallyIdentify opportunities to streamline and improve payroll processes, recommending changes and automation when appropriateQualifications:6+ months of proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar roleBachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related fieldStrong knowledge of Payroll regulations, Tax laws, and Compliance requirementsHands-on experience with Payroll software and systemsProficiency in payroll software and Microsoft ExcelExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculationsEffective communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive payroll information
