Position Overview
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing multi-state, multi-entity weekly, biweekly, and supplemental payrolls.
Responsibilities
- Process all payroll activities including new hire verification, payroll changes, hours in UKG Workforce Management, 401k filings, and payroll reconciliations.
- Create and maintain payroll procedures, reports, and assist with special projects.
- Handle employee inquiries, administer PTO, and ensure compliance with tax filings and general ledger entries.
- Cross-train with Payroll Analyst and provide workforce management training as needed.

Job Requirements
- Associate degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years payroll processing experience, with knowledge of payroll software (UKG preferred).
- Experience in multi-state payroll processing and strong Excel skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Physical Requirements
Regularly listen, talk, hear, use hands, and occasionally lift up to 15 pounds. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
