Payroll Specialist - FlexTek : Job Details

FlexTek has partnered with a Waste Hauling company in North Houston that is hiring a Payroll Specialist! Excellent career opportunity, role is open due to growth!

Contract-to-Hire

Schedule: Hybrid, 2 days in office

Pay: up to $31/hr DOE

ADP WorkForce Now experience required

What are the main functions of the position?

• Weekly payroll processing
• Some back-end GL accounting exp. would be a plus
• Looking for someone analytical, head down, works hard
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus

Responsibilities:

• Travel: 2-3 trips annually with one week's notice to support New Hire Onboardings/Acquisitions.
• 5+ years' experience with payroll processing
• 3+ years' experience supporting benefits and Annual Open Enrollment for our multi-state company.
• Position involves a weekly payroll, pre-and post- weekly payroll analytics, post-payroll GL reconciliation, ADP System Configuration, and monthly benefit bill audits.
