Payroll Clerk - Staffmark : Job Details

Do you have previous accounting or payroll experience? Staffmark is hiring an experienced Payroll Clerk in Lafayette, LA. Pay: $17 - $20 per hour 1st Shift Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday-Friday Payroll Clerk Responsibilities: Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries and communicate with supervisors about employee time tickets and payroll details. Maintain confidential employee records and payroll documentation. Set up new employee information in accounting software. Accurately calculate employee time tickets based on customer requirements. Perform data entry tasks and handle other administrative payroll-related duties. Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Office/ Excel; strong attention to detail and customer service, time management, organization, and communication skills.
