Job Location : Montauk,NY, USA
To assist with various clerical tasks of the resort accounting department. Respond to all customer billing inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
* Deals with customer inquiries efficiently and courteously.
* Assist with the reconciliation of credit card batches, etc.
* Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable data entry
* Researching charge-backs and NSF checks, and making sure we reply within the deadlines of the credit card company.
* Review all past due accounts to determine collectability of accounts. Recommend action to be taken on uncollectible or skip accounts.
* Complete all duties as assigned by the Assistant Controller and Director of Finance.
* Perform all activities in a professional manner and in accordance with company policy.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS :
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Prior Accounting experience helpful
Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of computerized accounting system. , an aptitude for detail and accurate accounting procedures. Figure aptitude a must. General knowledge of accounting and understanding of the general ledger accounts and how they relate to invoices.
