- Resolves payroll variances by collecting and analyzing large data sets
- Triage unassigned CRM Cases
- Monitor, research, process and respond to team's email inbox
- Perform and document quality audits to ensure the payrolls are accurately processed
- Prepare monthly and daily reports
- Unclaimed Property/Uncashed Check Management: reconcile, perform due diligence & report unclaimed properties
- Assist Payroll Supervisor with developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures
- Support the training of Payroll Operations staff
- Actively participate in special projects to explore ways to improve the efficiency of department functions
- Participates in User Acceptance Testing as needed
- Participates as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in company's initiatives as needed
- Support functional areas with other duties as assigned, including all Sr Payroll Coordinator duties & responsibilities
Required Skills:
- Moderate experience with Microsoft Office 365 toolset, specifically Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookup, Concatenate functions), Word, Outlook, Teams
- Ability to navigate between multiple applications
- Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills, extremely organized, flexible, self-starter
- Ability to adapt to change in processes, systems etc.
- Ability to work virtually under minimal supervision, prioritize work and meet deadlines
Qualifications: Education: Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required, Bachelor's degree preferred Experience: 4+ years of payroll, accounting, banking, operations, or clerical experience
