We are seeking for an Accounts Receivable & Payroll Specialist with the ambition to be trained and advance to the position of Staff Accountant.

Responsibilities:

  • Process & complete the weekly Payrolls
  • File all required taxes and liabilities associated with Payroll.
  • Process all payables related to the liabilities generated from Payroll.
  • Assisting in preparing, sending, and tracking all outgoing client billing and recording all client invoice payments
  • Learning and following company guidelines and billing procedures in accordance with specific per-project client billing requirements
  • Preparing and issuing Statutory Declaration drafts and ensuring compliance
  • Track and collect all payments for the Billings submitted to the client and any required documentation including the posting of the receipt in the bank and accounting system,
  • Tracking and obtaining lien release applicable to the Jobs Billings in Siteline
  • Enters the Job Information in the Job Cost Module in the accounting software.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in accounting or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • 2 years of experience in the construction field preferred.
  • Knowledge of Construction Billings (required)
  • Knowledge of Payroll Processing (preferred)
  • Bilingual (preferred but not required)
  • Experience with Job Costing, Budget, and Work-In Progress (preferred).
  • Must have extensive knowledge of Office Suites (Excel), QuickBooks, and Sage 90 (preferred).
