Payments Product Owner/Payments Lead - Talascend, LLC : Job Details

Talascend is looking for a Payments Product Owner / Payments Lead for a contractopportunity located in Benton Harbor, MI. to spearhead the strategy, development, and execution of our payment solutions. This role is ideal for a driven professional with deep expertise in payment systems who can bridge business needs with technical implementation to deliver seamless and secure payment experiences.Key Responsibilities:

• Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for all payment initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional teams to design and deliver scalable payment solutions (e.g., ACH, wire, card, real-time payments).
• Define clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure compliance with payment regulations and internal risk controls.
• Track key performance indicators and use data to inform product decisions.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on payment platforms and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in product management or product ownership, with a focus on payments.
• Strong understanding of payment processing, settlement flows, and financial infrastructure.
• Proven track record of delivering complex payment products in agile environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• U.S. work authorization required.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with PCI-DSS, NACHA, and other payment compliance frameworks.
• Background in fintech, banking, or high-growth technology companies.
• Familiarity with modern APIs, payment gateways, and third-party processors.
