The Fund for Public Health in New York City (FPHNYC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of all New Yorkers. In partnership with the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH), FPHNYC incubates innovative public health initiatives to advance community health throughout the city. It facilitates partnerships between government and the private sector to develop, test, and launch new initiatives, speeding up the implementation of successful pilot programs and meeting public health needs across NYC.
Program OverviewThe NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) seeks a dynamic Payment Analyst to join its Bureau of the Controller/Office of Fiscal Management within the Division of Finance. This division is responsible for financial management and resource optimization, ensuring programs have the necessary information, analysis, funding, and technical capacity to deliver services effectively.
Position OverviewThe Office of Fiscal Management supports financial operations, requiring analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Opportunities for advancement are available within the Bureau and throughout the Department.
ResponsibilitiesGotham Center, 42-09 28th Street LIC, NY 11101
HoursMonday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a one-hour lunch. Total weekly hours: 35. Hybrid and remote work arrangements available.
Funding and DurationThis position is funded through 06/30/2025, with potential for extension.
Salary and Benefits$37 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Additional InformationThis position is hired through a staffing agency. Candidates must meet DOHMH eligibility requirements, including NYC residency. Potential for transition to DOHMH employment.
