Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) invites applicants for a full time Patrol Officer in our Public Safety Department in Indiana, PA. The Patrol Officer provides police services and protection to State System property, grounds, facilities, clientele, employees and the general public. This is basic police services work that includes the provision of routine and customary police services under the direction of a higher-ranking police officer or a chief of the police department on the campus. The work requires basic police knowledge and involves making routine decisions and performing actions limited to those guided by standard police procedures and general university policies and procedures.
