Patient Transporter - Sutter Health : Job Details

Performs assignments to patients, employees and visitors within the realm of Transport Service. This includes transporting patients and providing mail services, e.g. the processing of the outgoing mail and the sorting/ distribution of the incoming and departmental mail by the internal courier services. Job Description:EDUCATION - Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. HS Diploma: GED or equivalent or equivalent education/experience. CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE - Transporter certification through the CPMC program preferred. DL-Valid Drivers License Class CPREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:Transport experience in a healthcare setting preferred. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE - Good driving record and valid California drivers license. Capable of lifting 50 lbs. or push approximately 300 lbs. Computer skills desired. Job Shift:Evenings.
