Patient Transporter - ForrestHealth : Job Details

The Patient Transporter performs under the direct supervision of the Central Transport Supervisor. The Patient Transporter is responsible for transporting all patients following Hospital and departmental policies while maintaining awareness for opportunities to promote the WE CARE Philosophy. The Patient Transporter is ultimately accountable to the Operations Manager of Central Transportation. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served and identify each patient s requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs. Performance Expectation: Demonstrate ability to safely transport patients of all ages/developmental levels to and from our facility departments.
