Patient Transporter - Deaconess Health System : Job Details

Patient Transporters at Deaconess will work in a fast paced environment where they are responsible for transporting patients in the hospital to any tests or procedures that are being performed within the facility. Patient Transporters will also assist patients at time of discharge from the hospital. They will be trained to safely move patients using equipment such as wheelchairs, carts and beds. The Patient Transport Department operates from 7 a to 10 p across various shifts, 7 days/week. Within the Deaconess Patient Transport department, we strive to help our staff be successful and confident with any position they hold.
