Patient Transporter/Concierge - St. Clair Health : Job Details

Summary The Transporter is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of patients in accordance with established policies and procedures. Greets patients and guests, and provides appropriate verbal assistance; guidance; and direction. Serves as a reference regarding services, directions, parking, valet and courier services at the facility. Minimum Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent.

Previous experience in a customer service-related position.

BLS certification.

Physical ability to lift and transport patients of various weights and ages.

Interpersonal skills to interact and communicate with patients, visitors, and other Hospital personnel.

Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Ability to multitask and prioritize work.

Ability to withstand all environmental conditions.
