Job Summary:
When patients need to travel throughout the hospital, the Patient Transporter will help lift, turn, and move them to the proper transport equipment.
You will ensure transport equipment is safe for the patients and report any defects quickly. When not transporting patients, you will clean the equipment, change lines as needed and communicate delays or concerns regarding transport to dispatch.

REQUIREMENTS
Education: H.S. Diploma/GED
Skills: Must be able to understand directions, communicate, and respond to inquiries; requires effective interpersonal skills. Must be able to input and retrieve information from computer. The position is highly physical, requiring prolonged periods of walking for most of your shift. Team members can expect to walk over 10,000 steps per shift.
Certification: Must have and maintain CPR certification
