Job Summary and Qualifications
The Outpatient Clinic Patient Services Representative manages all pre-certifications and prior authorizations required by insurance carriers/payors for patient treatments and surgeries. May be required to collaborate with physicians regarding procedural codes and medical record documentation. Duties and responsibilities include assisting the OPC team with answering phones, scheduling appointments, preparing paperwork/medical records for clinic visits, and scheduling referrals for continued tests and treatments.
