Patient Services Associate - ARAMARK : Job Details

As a Patient Services Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients receive optimal nutrition during their stay. Be the vital link between our patients, the Food and Nutrition Services Department, and Nursing Services. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Delivering and collecting patient trays during meal times, including timely delivery of snacks and nourishments as ordered by the physician or dietitian.
• Visiting patients to introduce them to the services provided by the Food and Nutrition Services Department.
• Gathering information on patient food preferences and dislikes, ensuring individualized care.
• Communicating patient food needs effectively to the Food and Nutrition Services Department.
• Ensuring that patients receive appropriate diet care orders through menu selections.
• Maintaining high sanitation standards by following cleaning schedules and completing assigned sanitation tasks.
• Managing inventory and restocking pantries, refrigerators, and freezers on assigned units.
• Maintaining temperature logs for unit refrigerators and freezers to ensure food safety.
• Understanding therapeutic diets and seeking assistance when necessary to uphold dietary standards.
• Assisting clinical staff in meeting patients' basic nutritional care needs.

This position may require physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing or walking, as well as wearing uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
