Patient Service Representative (PSR) Ambulatory Services

Working Well Willowcreek 3325 Willowcreek Rd Portage, Indiana 46368 The Patient Service Representative (PSR) Ambulatory Services is the first point of contact with patients, family members, and caregivers in the practice office. The PSR represents Franciscan through face-to-face, phone, and electronic communication to provide information, direction, and support to internal and external customers. This position collaborates with providers, leadership, and clinical staff to coordinate patient schedules in the occupational Health EMR, urgent care EMR and direct to employer EMR. The PSR demonstrates the ability to compassionately engage in conversation with patients on their responsibilities for copayment, prepayment, and outstanding balances. The PSR will fulfill other customer and administrative duties, such as maintenance of medical records to include scanning in documentation and charge entry.

Qualifications

  • Required High School Diploma/GED
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
