Patient Scheduler - UnityPoint Health : Job Details

Supportive communication with clients to schedule their visits and verify registration information. Utilizes critical thinking and clarifying questions to help determine scheduling needs. Understand and effectively scheduling requirements for both Mental heath and Substance Related treatment at 10( ) locations in both Iowa and Illinoise Coordinating patients' initial visits within company policy for timely initiation of care by managing multiple Epic workqueues. Schedule with appropriate clinician for all services based on service line requirements, funding, age, modality and other criteria. Requests consultation for clients that includes providers, social workers, and nursing staff when necessary. Qualifications. Education: Associate degree in business, health administration, related field, or equivalent experience.
