Patient Safety Observer, Full Time, Rotating Shifts - Hialeah Hospital : Job Details

Position Summary:

The Sitter provides personal individualized monitoring to patients requiring close observation. Responsible in assisting and accompanying patients as per the instructions given by nurse. The focus is to accompany patient, assist them and ensure their safety under the direction and supervision of nurse.

Position Qualification:

· Prior experience in acute care and patient care experience strongly preferred.

· Requires a thorough knowledge of basic nursing functions to meet patient needs for ADL's, must be able to work rapidly under stressful situations with many interruptions.

Required Licenses/Certifications:

· Current BLS certification- American Heart Association
