Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Patient Safety Monitor, your role will be crucial in safeguarding patients at risk for falls, injury, or self-harm. You will monitor their condition from a remote location, communicating any concerns in real time to empower the care team to respond swiftly.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Constantly observe and monitor patients to ensure their safety and comfort.
• Quickly identify risks such as falls or self-harm and alert the healthcare team promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient activities and any changes observed during your shift.
• Uphold patient privacy by protecting confidential information at all times.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to foster an atmosphere of compassion and teamwork.

Qualifications:

• Must obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within the first 30 days of employment.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training is required within 90 days of starting the position.
• One year of experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
