Employing excellent customer service skills the Patient Registration Representative Apprenticeship will provide on-the-job experience for those looking to develop a career in patient registration. This person will learn how to ensure a positive patient experience throughout the registration process in multiple areas of registration. They will insure appropriate reimbursement for services rendered primary duties taught will include:
The Patient Registration Representative Apprentice will work side-by-side with a Registration Representative assigned to them to ensure they adhere to the organizations policies and procedures for resolution of patient financial liability. Additionally, the Patient Registration Representative Apprentice will learn to be an information source for patients and patients families by explaining hospital policies patient financial responsibilities and Patient Rights and Responsibilities.
