Patient Registration Clerks - PT (Grave Shift)Job Location: French Camp, CaliforniaPay Rate: $20-$21/hourJob Type: Long Term Temporary; Part timeSchedule: Monday - Sunday, 11pm - 7:30am (schedule may vary)Description of Position:A hospital in the Stockton area is seeking Patient Registration Clerks to join their ER team for the next couple of months part-time. We are looking for individuals with recent experience in clinic, hospital, or doctor's office settings. Can include rotating weekends, must type 40wpm or more, and willing to work all shifts, weekends, holidays. Must have emergency room experience.Responsibilities include:Asking questions of patients and/or their relatives, entering information into the hospital system, and screening material for completeness and accuracy.Matching account numbers with financial codes, verifying insurance or Medic-Cal coverage, and checking insurance I.D. cards and Medic-Cal labels.Obtaining signatures on appropriate forms, typing I.D. cards, and stamping patients' records, as well as explaining rules, regulations, policies, and procedures pertaining to patient registration.Directing patients to appropriate offices, clinics, or treatment centers for services and maintaining a system of clinic appointments.Description of Company:We are a hospital located in Stockton, California, committed to providing exceptional healthcare services to our community.Experience Required:Knowledge of Basic Medicare, Medic-Cal, and private insurance eligibility requirements.Proficiency in public relations techniques and quality customer service.Familiarity with filing and record-keeping systems used in registering patients.Typing speed of 40 words per minute.Recent experience in a hospital or large multi-physician practice performing patient registration and/or insurance verification.Computer proficiency and ability to work in the ER environment.Similar Positions:Patient Access RepresentativeAdmissions ClerkMedical ReceptionistFront Desk CoordinatorBOLT Staffing is an equal opportunity employer.
