To assume responsibility for continuous patient observation(s) to ensure patients safety and provide daily patient care. Performs patient care activities for the pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient and other tasks to assist the nursing staff under the direction of the registered nurse. Accountabilities. Provides constant observation of assigned patients, documents and reports observations in order prevent self-harm or harm to others.
